  Fast gated X-ray imager

4 channel gated micro channel plate X-ray imager consisting of a 46mm channel plate with

gold evaporated onto it to form strip-lines. this is proximity focused onto a P20 phosphor on a fibre optic

window . The gating electronics give gating times better than 100ps - 10ns, Size off imager head is

80X80X 20mm deep with cable connectors on the back plate.

on the output window so allowing high voltage across the imager only during gating time, reducing

  breakdown if vacuum pressure rises, Gating times 5ns-1ms. Output window 46mm D. P20

phosphor. Size 80x80x20 mm.
